With that out of the way, let’s get started with masked cosplay ideas!

1. Akali

Even before the pandemic, K/DA was popular…and still is. No surprise though…the outfits are awesome! Cosplayer: caffeinatedbirb.cosplay. Photo taken by yenra.

Ever since the first K/DA music video Pop Stars was released, the League of Legends world was never the same. Now you see cosplays Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa all the time! And that’s definitely not going to change in 2021, especially with the newest KD/A videos More and Baddest. Akali is a perfect cosplay choice for a time like this!

2. Kitana

One of the OGs of Mortal Kombat, Kitana is a sexy woman who can kick some ass! If you’re willing to show a little skin, she’s actually not that hard to cosplay. And of course, she wears that notable blue mask that covers her mouth and nose. You can also go for Mileena and Jade as well!

3. Overhaul

Overhaul is one of the main villains of Season 4. It’s kind of ironic that Overhaul wears a plague doctor mask, and he was revealed in the Anime just before the pandemic started. Coincidence? Maybe so, but if you’re allowed to wear his legendary mask at a con, it definitely would make a nice cosplay!

4. Kaneki

Before there was any pandemic to speak of, there was Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul. With his famous eye-patch ghoul mask, you’ll look amazing at a con.

Sheik is one of the most popular Nintendo cosplays, likely because she is well-known in Super Smash Bros. Sheik’s overall outfit looks fabulous and best of all, she wears a mask that you can potentially use while at a con.

Kakashi’s mask not only looks great on him, but it also fits well as a mask you can use to walk around the convention!
